Summary of Position

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the commercial planning activities for the pipeline assets at MacroGenics in oncology through data gathering and analysis, creating planning documents and providing insight to team. 


Responsibilities and Job Duties

  • Develop a written overview of key oncology indications, including opportunity assessment and competitive intelligence evaluation, to drive key internal product decisions
  • Support portfolio planning initiatives by conducting market research and performing analysis of findings and recommendations
  • Provide input into the development of the launch plan for phase 3 development asset
  • Develop target product profiles and product forecasts for early pipeline assets
  • Assists in providing commercial input into the selection of indications and development paths for key development programs


Education, Certifications & Experience

  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program. 
  • Prior education and/or experience in scientific research, preferably oncology.
  • Two years of related work experience is required.
  • Prior Pharma/Biotech experience is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must be able to demonstrate initiative and impact
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong analytical skills
  • Must be able to deliver high quality results
  • Familiarity with MS Word and MS Excel
  • Ability to apply education and experience to job responsibilities

**This is a paid internship program for the summer of 2018. This position is not eligible for housing or travel reimbursement and is not open for immigration sponsorship.**
