Summary of Position

Will expand our ongoing efforts within the cell biology and immunology group identifying prospective targets for next generation immune oncology therapeutics. Will be part of a team of scientists modelling tumor immune suppressive mechanisms in vitro to help analyzing critical pathways of cell-mediated suppression.


Responsibilities and Job Duties

  • Isolate variety of cell types to include Human PBMC, Pan T cells, and T cell subpopulations
  • Analyze gene expression profile to identify immune suppressive mechanisms
  • Execute cell labeling and FACS analysis to support cell population characterization
  • Develop new methods and technologies for project advancement


Education, Certifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific area and currently enrolled in a graduate program in biology or similar science field.

**This is a paid internship program for the summer of 2018. This position is not eligible for housing or travel reimbursement and is not open for immigration sponsorship.**
