The Sr. Clinical Operations Systems Manager is responsible for identification, selection, implementation, validation, maintenance, training and user support for all systems used by the MacroGenics Clinical Operations Department. These systems include but are not limited to Veeva Vault eTMF, CTMS, Medidata’s Grants Manager and Clinical Operations Dashboard. This individual will be the liaison between Information Technology and Clinical Operations and is expected to identify areas where technology can drive process improvement and enhance productivity. This individual will be responsible for building strong relationships across the Clinical Operations Department and other internal and external stakeholders as necessary to identify, communicate and drive value from these systems while ensuring proper training and support are provided to the team.
This position functions on both an operational and strategic level and is responsible for leadership engagement, driving adoption, defining integration strategy and driving operational efficiency. This position will work closely with IT to coordinate and project manage all aspects of life-cycle management. The key responsibility of this position is to ensure that optimal systems are being utilized within Clinical Operations and maximum benefit is being derived. The position will partner with IT to ensure systems are selected, implemented and managed in a manner that is efficient and effective as well as meets key stakeholder requirements. The ultimate goal of this position is to increase productivity, standardization and efficiency in the delivery of clinical trials though the appropriately implemented and supported systems and tools.
