The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a field-based extension of the MacroGenics Oncology Medical Affairs group and will represent MacroGenics in support of its potential launch of Margetuximab. The MSL will also support MacroGenics’ pipeline of 8 other clinical stage immuno-oncology compounds.
The MSL will build long term peer-to-peer relationships with thought leaders and other stakeholders within the medical oncology community to deliver clinical, scientific, and technical education about our products. The MSL is responsible for developing, coordinating and assuring implementation of MacroGenics’ corporate, scientific, and clinical strategies with these thought leaders within academic, clinical, and healthcare organizations. These scientific exchanges will support and/or expand current therapeutic concepts, as well as ensure the safe and effective utilization of MacroGenics’ product(s).
Additionally, the MSL will support the Company’s research initiatives and investigator-sponsored studies and participate in and contribute to projects and initiatives that increase the value and productivity of the Medical Affairs team.
Responsibilities and Job Duties
Education & Other Credentials
Advanced clinical/science degree: PharmD, PhD, DO or MD, PA or NP
Minimum of 3 years combined clinical or Medical Affairs (solid tumor/oncology preferred) and/or MSL experience required with a positive track record of success.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Prior experience related to breast cancer
